Q: Is alcohol strictly not recommended for heart patients? Is limited quantity okay?

I tried to reduce consumption of alcohol and turned to wine. However i now have heard that alcohol drinks is better than wine. is this true?

Hi Christopher,

 

So far, red wine is the best option if you are going to drink alcohol - http://www.healthcentral.com/heart-disease/news-290509-29.html.  Just remember moderation is key, no more than 1-2 five ounce glasses per day.
