Q: Emergency: Whats wrong with me?!?

I am a 22 year old female. I used to be about 193 lbs (obese for my age and height at 19) i have had life-long chronic and severe stress, I was maxed on Ritalin doses and other simular stimulants from age 10-13 while also taking tranquilizers suh as thorazine,a nd mod stabilizers such as Lithium, depakote, etc. Anyways, I have been on at least 50 mental health related medications on high doses for about 5-6 years of being a minor/adolescent.  I believe as an adolescent I ahve overdosed on alcohol a few tmes without medical attention saught and also once with opiates and alcohol mixed. I have also had a head  injury in a  severe auto accident 2 years ago. The point is I have had a lot of stress on my body and heart and now am having odd problems that are scaring me, but my doctor keeps ignoring or putting off as "nothing." I wake up with prickly, tingly numb feet, my hands are always cold, I can never stay warm enough even in the summer, I get dizzy and my vision blurs frequently, I am hypersenssitive to light, I am mentally healthy and stable, I excersize 2 hours a day, I eat lean meats and low fat foods, whole grains... but I keep getting these problems. I have sudden intense but short headaches, I can't breathe through my nose, I had something like a "heart attack" in which the paramedics said it was a severe panic attack, but I have never had one before ever. My legs were blue and numb and felt intensepressure, my face was pale, my left arm was numb and tingly severely, I felt a stupor, couldnt think clearly, felt severely nausous and sick to my stomach, couldnt stand up or breathe, and intense chest pain on teh left side. i still get chest pain regularly since then on the left side, my doctor said I have palpitations but I think its more than that and she hasn't done any tests since the "panic attack incident". I also have a family history of strokes and diabetes.  All of these symptoms are very new to me and I am scared it could be life-threatening. Can you help me figure out what my prolem is so I can get my doctor to finally help me? Please and thank you!!!

Hello,Im not any expert, but 1st thing i would do is change Doctors as I went thru the same thing with VA Doctor ignoring multipule health problems,as some of thes problems could be caused by panic attacks I could also be possible you have a possible ignored Injury somewhere in your body from your accident, you should have a full CAT Scan or MRI which is better thena CAT Scan to look for possible injuries in your discs or nerves Head ,but unless you change Doctors this from what you say will Never happen.I have had 14 different surgeries 1 was sinus,it is possible but cant tell from your listing what was injured im your accident, but possibly  if you hit your face it could have shifted the bones in your nose causing your Breathing problems,I would also have a Doctor do blood work and check your Thyroid,as mine is messed up,it runs in my family,as well as strokes and 2 in family with heart problems, that dosent include me,which I also have heart problems.Jim
