Q: BPM average 46 year old woman lupus

Is a slow heartbeat for a 46 year old woman with lupus likely to abnormal under 60 BPM ?

My doctor things my ECG readings mean my heart is beating " too slow", unfortunately I do not know how slow as I did not ask.

She is worried about an electrical abnormality.

Is this problem a part of lupus?

Hi Nicky11,

The average adult heart rate is around 70 beats per minute, but can range from 50-100 and be within normal.  You may want to review the post below.  I believe Dr. Shelby-Lane briefly touches on electrical adnormalities when it comes to heart rate.
