Q: Chest pains while lying down. 16 year old male.

Hi, I am a 16 year old male. For quite some time, I have had pain in my chest when lying down. I would describe the pain as spiking and it seems to happen when I lie down for long periods of time. I don't recall it happenening when lying down for short periods of time. I have no underlying medical conditions and I hope that this isn't going to be my first. If there was any more information I could give you I would. The last thing I will say is that the pain is generally in my mid chest area and it's internal. Thank you for any help anyone can provide, even if it is just pointing me in the right direction.

Hi Blake,

I recommend you speak with your parents about scheduling an appointment with your physician to be evaluated.
