Sudden onset of abdominal pain

Topics:Sudden abdominal pain

What might be the cause of an otherwise perfectly healthy 41-year-old woman (eat okay - dont smoke - exercise a least 2 to 3 days a week) having a sudden onset of rib pain (high) just below the breast line - nausea - sometimes daily but comes and goes now - moments of sweaty palms and racing heart feeling - doctor did every gastro test and all is fine. put me on anxiety meds that dont seem to do anything - not an anxious person at all - but didn't question him.  kind of just living with it now. any thoughts?

Hi Charmaine,

It wouldn't hurt to get a second opinion.  Another physician may have more experience with what you are experiencing.

All the best,
