Q: had severe crushing chest pain the other night. Had been upper respiratory sick so doc ordered chest ct was ok. Also did ekg which was ok. Still feel like it could have been heart attack?

Later I thought maybe it was a gallstone or something to do with pancreas. My gallbladder was removed last March. I don't know but it was very scary. I just felt real shaky and like chills as the pain subsided.

Hi Kllll,

What a terrible experience. If you do not feel back to "normal" I recommend contacting yoru physician for further investigation into the issue.

All the best,

Thank you.  I feel good now.  I get some chest pains here and there but have for some time.  Not too long after my gallbladder surgery, I was informed I had Mitral Valve Prolapse, so I wondered if that could be the cause.  I just don't want to have one of those episodes again.
