Q: can zocor cause cancer in a patient who has had chemo for lymphoma

i hav had chemo twice for lymphoma now my cardiologist prescribed zocor (generic) because my cholesterol is 230 it was 280 and was reduced without rx to 230 i saw something on tv that zocor can cause cancer.. is this true?
