Hi Angelo,   First - Have you discussed your high blood sugar with your MD?  If not, contact your MD.  Many different factors can influence your blood sugar and you need to have a fasting blood sugar taken by your MD, so you get the right treatment.   There are ways you can alter your lifestyle/diet to help control blood sugar.   1.  Limit simple sugars - soda, candy, baked goods, etc.  Low carb diet may be beneficial.   2.  Increase your physical activity.  If you are sedentary start with a 30 minute walk 3 times a week.   3.  Increase dietary fiber - switch from refined grains to whole grains (100% whole wheat bread, whole grain pasta, whole grain cereal, etc.)   4.  Watch portion sizes - Instead of eating a couple large meals each day, spread your meals out into smaller meals with snacks.   Again, discuss your blood sugar with your MD.   All the best,   Lisa Nelson, RD, LN Lower Cholesterol, Control Blood Pressure, Lose Weight
