I had it alicia............and it took about 2 weeks for me....but my field requires hard labor....you will have some mild pains.......but should be fine if you didn't have any other side effects from it. The meds for pericarditis are really something........a great gift. Don't worry and enjoy........you should be fine and your doctor should have shared that with you. It's not a heart attack...just fluid around the heart that give you the pain.    chopsaw
