I have been told that if you have a burning smell in your nose and you have heart disease it means there is something wrong with your heart. every once in a while [actually quite often lately I have had this smell in my nose]. Does this mean something?

This is not a symptom/sign I'm familiar with that is linked to heart disease; however, I do recommend you discuss with your physician.
