Q: I have pain in the back of my calve. No running injury . Pain started about 45 min after a 2 mile run. I cannot run and its been 2 weeks. feels very tight and painful to extend foot, ok on flexing.

So if i try to come up on my toes I have terrible pain. I have massaged, ice, heat and rest. I am really frustrated . Any ideas? Also kind of hurts if I step down , eg- like off a curb .

Hi Nashama65,

I recommend being evaluated by your doctor to determine the cause of your calf pain and appropriate treatment.
