Hello Rene   While pain in the chest can be caused by many things and most of them are not serious, it is advisable for you to consult your doctor. Even if the pain is very mild and feels more like tightness, a physical examination conducted by a trained physician is going to prove much more accurate than anything else. Some questions you should ask yourself before you visit the doctor are: Under what conditions did the tightness occur? Have you done anything physically straining that might account for the tightness? and Have you ever had this feeling in the past?   I wish you well
