I am 23yr old, feeling abnormal heart beat rhythm. What's wrong with me, is it serious?

I am a 23 year old male, been having feelings of skipped heart beats or abnormal beat-rhythms since past 3 weeks. It has increased a lot since past 2 days.  I am feeling it again as i am writing this. When it happens, i feel pressure in my heart while feeling that the blood was forcefully pushed out of a closed artery. Couple of times my heart started beating hard when i felt the abnormal rhythm.  I've never had any heart problems before.

These symptoms signifies what?

What's going wrong with me?

First, it is very good that you are listening to your body telling you something is different with you. You are paying attention to your symtoms, and that is very important! Remember many symptons are symtematic of many, many things. Anxiety can cause pressure when you are worried. I have had episodes of my heart beating really fast. Very scary. I didn't worry because it subsided, and it only happened a couple of times. But, yesterday it happened for the 1st time in 6 months. It did not subside. I took my blood preassure and it was very high! 174/159. My resting heart rate was 189. Adults heart rates should be between 60-100. I went to the emergency room. I was given medicine to slow my heart down.  It took 3 hours. The doctor said I didn't have a heart attack. It was called "Supra ventricular tachycardia" or "SVT". I was given a prescription to lower both my heart rate and blood pressue. It is called Toprol, and the generic was only $15.00 for a month's supply. It helped quickly. I have to see a Cardiologist as a follow-up. There is also a condition called "Mito Valve prolapse". you can find info on the internet. I kind of remember reading about heart palpations and skipped beats on that one. Because your symtoms are increasing, you really need to go to the emergency room so they can asses what is going on. It is not uncommon to experience these symptoms.  But, your body is speaking to you, and I think your gut feelings are telling you that you need to see a doctor. You are young, so don't think the worst, but be smart and don't rule anything out.
