I too have chest pain, right in middle especially turning over in bed, more from left to right.  It grabs me and literally forces me as quick as possible to stop in my tracks, get up on my elbows and get back on left side. Then when I get up for the day, if I jolt myself in any way or turn in certain directions, there is that sharp pain again.  I feel pressure most all the time, walk kinda drawn over, and this isn't new but has happened as far back as 30 yrs. ago, coming and going.  I am wondering if it is spine related crushing on my lungs or chest.  I do have a curved spine (scolosis and kyphosis), have had all kinds of heart x-rays in past.  I take Toprol and Avapro(one for slowing down heart).  My Chloresterol is now normal from meds, have had hiatal hernia surgery, all that is fine.  Am too discouraged to go back to heart Dr. cause it may be something else. They did say I had a leaky valve, but Dr. said most everybody has leaky valves, not to be concerned.  He is supposed to be very good.  Any idea out there?
