KJ,       Can you tell me more?  I was admitted to the ER this last weekend with no findings except a "trivial pleural effusion"  mildly elevated ST wave of EKG and comment of Dr. saying ST waves probably related to pericarditis.   This scares me to death. They gave me a shot of torridol and a medrol dose pack and it's been good until last night when I had the pain lying on my left side.  I'm afraid it's going to come back full force.  Chest, jaw pain, back pain etc..     Did the Dr. tell you why your's have never gone away?  Has it gotten worse?  Only when you lay down?  How old are you?  How long have you had it?  How do you treat it?  Thanks.   I'm just scared about my heart.    - Paul
