Tuesday, February 16, 2010 Tony Smith asks

Q: What does the following information mean?

I had an echo performed. Conclusion left ventricle is moderately dilated, LV systolic function is severely reduced due to severe generalized hyperkinesis. EF-25-30%. Severely irregular heart rate with variable pressure pulse. Right ventricular pressure cannot be acurately estimated. My left atrium is normal size as is my right, my right ventricle. I was diagnosed 15 months ago with cardiomyopathy.

Hi Tony Smith,

 

I encourage you to make an office appointment to sit down and speak with your physician regarding your results.  In the meantime, here is some info that may help.
