Q: Coumadin and Plavix Mixed

Is is a normal practice for a doctor to prescribe both Coumadin and Plavix together for a triple by-pass patient that just received a stent with Hypertension?

Hi Raggamuffinbows,

Coumadin and plavix both are anticoagulants and used to decrease blood clotting.  I recommend discussing with your physician to determine the reason two anticoagulants were prescribed so you understand your treatment plan and to ensure you are taking the appropriate steps.

All the best,

Thanks.  My Mom passed away due to the use of Coumadin and Plavix according to the doctor's cause of death on the certificate.  It caused her to have a brainstem herniation.

That's the exact same thing that happened to MY MOTHER !!!! Crandall claims to be a prophet , claims God " spoke " to him , claims to have " raised the dead" he's nothing but a lying charlatan . He will have to answer to the very God that he using in vain. Beware people . Take head ! This is not a healer , this is a murderer ! One innocent unsuspecting person at a time . If you live in the state of Florida seek cardiology care anywhere BUT with the so called "dr" Chauncey Crandall Reply
