Q: can muscle spasms in the shoulder blade area be mistaken for a heart attack

I have been experiencing severe  shoulder blade pain, went to the chriopractor, after that the pain was really severe, next day I called my physician, he thinks the pain is due to muscle spasms.. next day the pain is unbearable, my shoulder blade hurts/my neck hurts/sweating/ headache, I start to bend over to pick up something I get severe chest pain, radiating from my back under my Left arm and into my chest/just to breathe hurts! The pain is staying in my chest, if I cough I feel klike my left chest area is going to blow up! Nothing is yhelping the pain! Is this signs of a heartattack?

could be. go to an urgent care tell them your symptoms request an EKG. I suggest a stress test. Chest pain that has lasted for days and days usually isnt cardio related.
