Hi dev92,
You should speak with your physician to see if this is an apprpriate dose for you (since he/she can review your medical history, disease risk and current fish intake). Generally, a 600 mg dose each day (EPA/DHA) has no major side effects and is appropriate for most healthy people. However, dosage should be individualized and your physician can help you. Reviewing this article may be helpful to you: How much omega-3 should you take?
