I am a 59 year old woman who weighs 273 pounds and who has lost over 3 stone in the last five months from healthy eating and a challenging exercise programme. My resting heart rate was 60-65 when I started but as I became fitter it gradually fell further so that now shortly after rising in the morning it well below 50 beats a minute. Is this OK or should I be worried? My blood pressure has also gone down quite a lot through exercise - from on average 105/72 to on average 99/66.
