Q: what does ejection fraction have to do with heart failure.how does one come up with the percentage number anyway

I had a triple bypass in 2003. Now I have been retaining alot of fliud. My heart meds are isosrbide 60mg lisinopril 20 mg furosemide 40 mg potassium cl 20meq metoprolol tartrate 100 mg twice daily nitro spray for pain
