What could cause dizziness, a bad taste in my mouth and heart burn?

The taste is a moth ball taste and I am dizzy for about 4 weeks. The taste has been on and off for about 1 year and the heart burn started at the same time. nexium doesnt help, zegrid doesnt help and none of the convential methods work. Please help me Iam at my wits end!!!

Thanks for your question. Judging by your Nexium prescription, it sounds like your doctor thinks the cause may be acid reflux. Perhaps you may find this list of GERD prevention tips helpful.

Dizziness could be caused by an inner ear infection... labyrinthitis. I've had it before and it is awful. Antibiotics and meclizine helped. Mothball taste could be caused by a sinus infection... perhaps you had both a sinus and inner ear problem? Hope it cleared up... if not see your doctor and ask them to check for infections. Good Luck!
