i have a lump about the size of a quarter on my outer right lower leg could it be a blood clot

Thanks for your question.  To answer your question accurately, you must see your doctor for his examination and opinion.  This could represent a clot, as well as many other possibilities. But it's very important to know if this is, or is not, a clot.  Clots can be serious and lead to even greater problems.  So call your doctor and get an appointment as soon as possible.
