I have developed keloids in my incision. I am in terrible pain.
My first bypass was in 2000 and complained of the sternum pain along with the angina I was also experiencing. Of course the doctors were doubtful of my complaints until I went to UCLA. The original doctor didn't do a proper job so I had to go through what they call a re-do. To this very day I still have chronic sternum pain. Of course there are meds but who wants to live like that. I hope you are feeling better if not get another opinion...please!
