This morning I got a blind spot in my right eye, then it moved to my left eye. this lasted about 30 minutes, i thought I might be going blind. After it went away I had a bad headache, not severe. I am a little worried what is this from?

Hi Brodie250--
I have something similar, often with zigzaggy moving patterns in my field of vision, usually lasting for about half an hour and sometimes followed by a killer headache. My dr suggested ocular migraine and i find that if I take an ibuprofen immediately, then preferably lie down for maybe 15 minutes in a darkened room, there's a good chance the headache will never happen.
I have several friends with the same condition so I think it's not too unusual. Some of them have identified a specific trigger that seems to cause it--like caffeine or chocolate. I haven't, though glare and stress might be contributors.
A good eye doctor could check your eyes just to make sure there's no problem there, and s/he would no doubt also be familiar with ocular migraine.
Good luck from billyabe
