I was standing at work. my heart seemed to skip a beat then suddenly started pounding so hard i thought my chest would burst. i couldnt breathe and nearly passed out. it has happened twice in one week within three days of each occurence. should i be worried, it took me a little while to get my breathe back also my daughter noticed the day after the second incident my lips had a bluish tinge to them?

Hi Jane,
I suggest you see your physician as soon as possible. Only your doctor can give you a diagnosis but your symptoms are worrisome of heart issues.

And if this happens again, I suggest you call 911 or have someone take you to the emergency room.
