Q: Choking/squeezing feeling in throat followed by an episode similar to a seizure?

A pre-teen female friend of the family has these episodes (usually once a day) where she can tell she is about to have an episode because her throat feels like she's being choked.  The episode progrsses to the point were she looses most of her muscle control and can not  talk.  EEG reports come back negative (as she had an episode while being monitored), spinal tap analysis concludes no Lyme's disease or West Nile on/in the brain.  This sweet little girl should not have to deal with this, and it is baffling that the best Hospitals (U of C and Mayo Clinic) have no idea what's going on.  Any help/comments/suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated.  Thanks in advance and God Bless.

I get that feeling in my throat. Choking.  That is a panic attack/generalized anxeity disorder.  I have been put on Lexapro and Lorazipim which helps this.
