had double bypass and one of them blocked again , can this be done again,

Hi could you answear a question for me, a very good friend of mine had a double bypass and 18 months later had an angiogram and it show that one of the bypasses was blocked again and was told by the doctor there was nothing more they could do for her, Is this true or can they give another bypass.
