Q: what is precordial chest pain (subacute)?

Went to the E.R. Wednesday night complaining of chest pains, on-going off and on since February 8, 2010.  Headaches, nausea, as well.   Pain in center of chest wall with squeezing and tightness in chest.  Pain had spread the night before to the right arm/shoulder.  In the E.R. the pain had spread to the left arm/shoulder.  Pain intense -  I had to ask for pain medicine for pain relief.  Given Naproxen and Lortab and zozen (spelling ?) for nausea.  Chest x-ray okay.

blood work taken at 2 hrs apart -- Okay supposedly.  2 EKGs performed which were okay.  Given instructions to see cardiologist the next day (3/4/10).  Nuclear stress test with dobulax (spelling?) scheduled for 3/17/10.

This day (3/5/10) still have chest pain off and on.  Taken 4 Aleve tabs total today.  Helped some.  Still pain returns.
