Q: can you have a heart attack with low blood pressure?

I am 47 and have been having chest pains for about a week.  Two days ago I completly ran out of breath just by walking from my desk to another room.  The chest pain seems to come and go randomally.  I went to the DR and told him so he scheduled a stress test next week.  is that to long to wait?  My blood pressure was low.
