Q: Can sythroid cause potassium and calcium levels to elevate?

My levels were normal before taking this medication. I dont have any other conditions that would be causing this. Other than the hypothyroidism, I am a healthy 28 yr old.

Hi Jinzey2004,

I did a check on synthroid side effects and found nothing linked to potassium and calcium. However, that doesn't mean there isn't a connection. Your pharmacist would be a good resource to discuss medication side effects. I also recommend discussing with your doctor to investigate further.
