Q: Left chest pain radiating around to mid back.
My mom is 76 years old and was diagnosed with lung cancer (left lung) about three years ago along with congestive heart failure, COPD and she also has rheumotory arthritis. They were not able to do the surgery due to her poor health, but they did radiation and chemotherapy and her cancer is in remission. About six months ago she had a hysterectomy because they thought she had ovarian cancer, but she didn't. After the surgery she started having pains in her left breast which radiated under her arm and around through her mid-back, which is very painful. She has trouble breathing and has fatigue. The doctors can't seem to find the cause for this and we don't know where to go from here. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
