ask your doctor, he probably doesn't know that answer either. I take Plavix & I've never had a doctor take me off anything unless I get allergic to it & if you are on a mecicine long enough it will happen. I've quit them cold turkey and I'm still here....If you really think you need to quit, talk it over with your doctor, of course he will try to put you on something else, talk to him about that too.....
