Q: How fast can lung cancer grow

Hello,

I am curious how fast lung cancer can grow?  I had a x-ray done 3 months ago and it came back clean>

however i am still feeling some pain in my right lung underneeth my right nipple.  It's really odd as then my muscle right by my arm pit hurts.  Sometimes it feels like it's my peck muscle and other times it feels like its in my lung.  Also, here is another really odd symptom is sometimes inbetween my ribs hurt.  Any idea what that may be?

Also, just curious if cancer could have grown that fast or if they missed something with the x-ray.

Thanks

Hi Karger78,

Here is some information on the symptoms and causes of lung cancer.

If lung cancer has been ruled out, I suggest you see your physician again to discover what else might be causing the pain.

Best of luck,
