Q: I have always had perfect blood pressure. I am 61 yrs old, female, and relatively healthy and active. Recently my blood pressure has been lower than normal. What does this mean?

Hi Curious,

 

Hypotension occurs when systolic blood pressure (top number) drops below 90 mm Hg. If your blood pressure is consistently this low I recommend discussing with your physician. Here's a link to information:
