Q: Hardness in goin area after heart catherization

Husband just had heart catherization, 20th. of Nov. and now has a hardness in his groin area bout 3 inches long...what could that be?

Hi Vikki, 

 

Blood can form a lump at the site called a hematoma, which may be what's occurred in your husband's situation.  However, I recommend contacting his physician's office to discuss other possible causes, determine if an evaluation is warranted, and learn appropriate treatment steps.
