Q: My heart with strong palpitations

I've been having irregular heart palpitations for the past 2-3 months, there is no chest pain of any kind, it feels like the heart needs to work extra harder to pump, and I can really feel it, my chest feels heavy, and I get SOB, and sometimes when I lay on my side, I can feel it under my arm pit. I can also feel it when it works so hard up in my neck, throat area. Can you explain to me what may be going on?
