Q: Does Isordil and digoxin are they the same type of medication.

 My father is here on vacation he brought with him Isordil and Digoxin with him I notice both of them are for the heart,

 is it for different type of heart problems.thank you!!!!

Isordil is used for relieving or prevent angina pectoris (suffocating chest pain). Digoxin (also called Lanoxin) is used in the treatment of congestive heart failure, certain types of irregular heartbeat, and other heart problems.
