Hi Annabo,

Yes, there are steps you can take to reverse and slow the progression of heart disease.  I recommend the book Reverse Heart Disease Now by Dr. Stephen T. Sinatra and Dr. James C. Roberts.  This book provides very comprehensive easy to understand steps you can take for results.

For example, research is showing very promising results with omega 3 fatty acids.  Within 3 days omega 3 fatty acids penetrate arterial plaques and halt plaque formation with potential signs of reversal.

All the best,
