I have been diagonised with 'single vessel disease' with 60% plaque at the origin of the circumflex artery after a cardiac catheterization test done exactly an year ago and my Cardiologist suggested medical management.
I have changed my pattern of life having stopped smoking, walking 30 mts at least thrice a week, sleep 6 hours, take a weekly drink and refrain from all fatty foods as my cholestrol levels have been high throughout and seems to be genetic as it has'nt increased or reduced to the statins prescribed by my Cardiologist.
My concern is that i keep geting regular pains around my heart, followed by anxiety, heavyness in the chest and difficulty to take a full/deep breath at unexpected times even when relaxing but the breathing and heaviness gets worse when i do my brief walk and i have to yawn to take a full breath. I went through an excercise ECG and a Echocardiography test recently and the results were within the acceptable range.
Could you please advise whether these are due to the single vessel block getting worse or is this due to a lung diseases as i feel i am not getting sufficient oxygen.
Thank you
Mifraz
