khalid,   Thanks for your question.  Lipitor is a cholesterol lowering drug that lowers total cholesterol and LDL (bad cholesterol), while raising HDL good cholesterol).  Lipitor can be taken with or without food, and unlike other statin medications, it can be taken in the morning or evening.  As you know, establishing a routine is best to avoid missing doses.   Yes, it is safe to take aspirin at the same time as Lipitor.  So, if taking medication in the morning works best for you, then Lipitor should bit in nicely.   Best wishes.   Martin Cane, M.D.
