My friend is on Lovenox injection daily.After giving the injection, the nurse signs her initals and at the site she write 8 or 7. What does the numbers mean?
Q: lf some gives a subcutaneous injection , and writes 8 and 7 for the sites which she gave the injection Lovenox, what does that mean?

Hi Dizzy Mettle,
Generally, the date, time, site, dose and patient's response to the injection should be documented. I'm not sure what the 8 or 7 might mean, so I would suggest asking the nurse what those numbers mean.
