Q: Is this cause for concern? Heart related?

I am 37 year old female (non smoker for 1 year) No prior heart trouble. This morning while putting on my daughters shoes I dropped to the floor with excruciating upper/mid/left side back pain. Short of breath but thought it was due to stomach clenched from pain. Symptoms eased in about 1 hour. 6 months ago I had "sense of impending doom" while at work. Went away after a minute. 1 week ago I had unusual jaw pain off and on for about 2 days (upper and lower jaw, left side) last 2 days unusually fatigued (thought it was due to time change!?!) No I am wondering if this mornings event could be heart related - thoughts?

Hi Vsylvester,

I encourage you to discuss all the symptoms/episodes you've experienced with your physician. I can't tell you if there linked to heart trouble, but they are cause for concern. You may be interested in the following two posts that discuss the heart disease and symptoms specific to women.
