how to reduce trglycerides while taking other medcines for my knee pain especially through diet cont

My lipid profile Investigation are ; total cholesterol 224 , triglyerides 282, HDL 37 , LDL 131, VLDL 56, Total/HDL Cholesterol 6.1 and LDL/HDL Cholestrol 3.5. I am 64 years , not diabatic but due to over weight by 15 kg. I have devloped pain in my Knees for which I am prescribed medicines. I am managing my BP (140-90 )through exercises only. I wish to correct my lipid profile within the normal range preferably through exercises and diet. PLEASE advise me .

Your HDL cholesterol needs to increase to above 40 and ideally greater than 60. Refer to this post - Tips on How to Raise Your HDL.
