Hi Harish,   There are some great resources here at the Health Central Network to get you off to a good start.   For steps to lower triglycerides, read this post - Triglycerides: Why they matter and how to lower them.   Your HDL cholesterol needs to increase to above 40 and ideally greater than 60. Refer to this post - Tips on How to Raise Your HDL.   Omega 3 fatty acids are an effective way to reduce your heart disease risk. You can learn more here - Top 5 Omega 3 Sources to Lower Cholesterol. Omega 3's will also help improve your blood pressure control.   Also, increasing soluble fiber intake will promote a lower LDL cholesterol - Dietary Fiber - 4 Tips to Lower Cholesterol with Fiber.   All the best,   Lisa Nelson, RD, LN8 Essential Steps to Lower Cholesterol Naturally
