We have seen at least 7 different doctors in this time period, once presented at the er. We have had 2 ekg, one about 5 years ago and one a few days about ago. We  have never recieved a good explaination, both ekgs were normal. My son is mildly ashametic. doctors are not really interested in any further evaluation, only explainations ever given were: it is  ashma related, growing pains, it is occasional- do not worry. come to er at the exact moment when he is experiencing the pain(todays answer), heart is ok. My son was born premature 3 weeks early, as he had IUGR, a 4 and a 1/2 pound baby boy. I don't know what else to do, but I would like a feasible explaination to put my mind at ease. when pain occurs has trouble breathing, remains still pulls on chest muscle? pain goes away. Pain lasts up to 30 seconds. What do you suggest for me to do now?
