Q: use of coumadin

Ihave been recomended to go on a coumadin plan for atrial fibrilation but on research I find out it is a real pain in the butt  to moniter all the time and is affected by your diet too  much or too little vitimin k in the system and can be dangerous :

Wouldnt the use of plavix do the same thing without the hassles with some blood monitering I.N.R. and blood clotting times kept in the suggested ranges ;

I suggest that you see your Dr a cardioligist the drug coumadin has to be monitored so your blood is at the correct thickness to help stop embolisms from forming which can cause a stroke or a heart attack,plavis is just for your cholesterol yes it slows down the sticky affect of the blood but is not the same as coumadin and not only that the drug plavix has a lot of adverse effects also,please dont rely on drug companys they will say anything to sell you on a drug,there is no miracle drug,proper diet,exersize,consumption of water and regular visits to your Dr,take care of yourself no one can do that for you but you.
