Q: IM 32 YRS OLD AND HAVE HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE WHAT SHOULD BE MY TARGET HEART REATE WHILE WORKING OUT

Hi Amy,

 

Get clearance from your MD before beginning a workout program.

 

Typically, your target heart rate should be 50-70% your max heart rate.  At the age of 32, your max heart rate is 188 beats per minute.  The range you want to keep your heart rate while working out is 94 - 132 beats per minute.
