Q: I get shortness of breath,my chest feels like someones standing on it, fatigue, dizziness, nausea

I am a 37 yr old female, mother of 2 and a wife. I MOSTLY experience these symptoms when using my upper body (arms). I also get sharp pains like a knife in my back,and/or chest at times. On a daily basis (especially when i flare) i get a sore, swollen and raspy throat.I have been diagnosed with Lupus,Sjogrens,Raynauds and Fibromyalgia. I feel heart palpataions here and there and i have trouble breathing even when im doing NOTHING. Mt dr isnt too concerned about theses things. Ive been having these symptoms for 3 yrs and they get WORSE EVERY year that goes by. She says im "too young", i "am a healthy weight", i "exercise" (please note though that my exercises have DRAMATICALLY DECREASED in STRENGTH and SPEED) and i "eat right" so, she DOUBTS its anything to worry about. I JUST DONT FEEL WELL/RIGHT. Ive had a heart monitor for 30 days and i would get a palpatation before i could even record it MOST of the time. What tests should i be SPECIFICALLY pushing her to do. Im VERY UPSET that ahe thinks im "too healthy" and i "LOOK HEALTHY". Please help me. THANK YOU

Hi Lucky7,

I do not have suggestions for you regarding tests or questions to discuss with your physician, but I do recommend you seek a second opinion.  Another physician may have more experience with your symptoms/conditions and be able to get you started on an appropriate treatment plan.

All the best,
