I too am having Severe pains. They hit with no warning, as soon as they hit they are gone. It feels like a lightning bolt passes through me. most of the time it is a single shrill pain either behind my left shoulder blade or most commenly behind and just beneath my left breast. on a scale of one to ten I rate the pain as a ten! If it were to last any longer than a split second I do believe I would hit the floor.    I have been to several Drs, each with thier own vague opinion. In the onset, I was having problems with acid reflux and a deep aching pain all the way across my diaphram. I have had an abdominal cat scan, which came back fine.  I have one Dr saying it has to be my Gall Bladder, which makes no sense being I am hurting on my far left side. I have had a gastro tell me to lay off fiber and switch to non lactose products. Which I have done and really seems to have helped with acid and gas.  I recently had a chest xray to check my lungs, it was fine. An EKG to check my heart and all it showed was a slow heart beat from a med I am taking for my A-FIB. And last thing was a blood test to check for any possible blood clots in the lungs. Still have not heard back on that.    I can not predict when these pains will hit, however any small excercise will bring on a quick and deep soreness in the muscles in this area.  I do suffer from fibromyalgia, and a Dr seems to think that people with this disorder are more likely to feel stomache pains more intense. I feel for the most part it just has to be muscular, but then I wonder how a muscle can produce such a shrill and fast pain. could this be just as simple as gas pains? and muscle pains? If so, why? and what can I do to make it better?
